January: Obsessed with Sorachi Ace. Originating in Japan but now grown commercially in the US since 2006, it’s a hop created by crossing Brewers Gold with Saaz and the progeny crossed with Beikei No2, with the goal of achieving high alpha and noble characteristics. We’ve yet to use this hop at QB, but we are excited to kick off our 2022 series with this special hop.
Our smooth house pale base and a neutral yeast allows us to showcase the Sorachi hops; giving flavours and aromas of citrus, coconut and dill.
